So, sales will be down, in our view, over the next two years." • ANN FAQ: May I Post An Aero-News Story On MY Site?
As Long As You Ask Us, It's Usually OK It's a question the ANN staff is asked too many times per week to count. The message usually goes something like this: "I really enjoyed the story Aero-News did on (fill in topic here.) I'd love to post it on my blog/newsletter/website... is that OK?"
  • ANN's Daily Aero-Term (10.08.08): Stabilator
Aero-Terms! A single piece horizontal tail surface on an airplane which serves the purpose of both the horizontal stabilizer and elevators. A stabilator must have some method of decreasing its sensitivity, and this is done with an antiservo tab on its trailing edge. The antiservo tab automatically moves in the same direction as the stabilator, and the aerodynamic force it produces opposes the movement of the stabilator.
